Interim Executive Management
With a career in middle, senior and executive management positions, with USA and international experience, with union and non-union practice, Rob Sheader can provide sound interim executive management to allow management time in recruiting the new executive.  Duties can range from passive "maintain" to active "improve". 

Organizational Development
In any business the operational organization, whether it be union/non-union, hourly/salary, or exempt/non-exempt, is often  too narrowly focused.  The machine operator may be focused on product quantity rather than financial variance.  The shipping supervisor may be focused on inventory rather than cash flow.  The maintenance mechanic may be focused on reducing downtime rather than preventing it.  We can provide a series of current state evaluations that identify what your organization is focusing on and a tried and tested improvement process to change that focus to business metrics.

Leadership Development
Many supervisory and management positions are filled with the longest tenured applicant or the most successful in their current position.  Few companies have a leadership development process that provide the necessary skills to be successful. We focus on the understanding of the fundamental role of leadership, to align the organization with the business.   As part of the Leadership Development focus of RMSLLC, we are now offering a new Leadership Development curriculum.  A series of 7 lesson plans for new and existing leaders struggling to understand their role in the business and for organizations trying to align their leaders to the business.  Each lesson studies a leadership type, evaluates stereotypical behaviors for that type and provides a game plan for progress to the type.

Team Development
There is a tendency to put a group of people together, either due to operational or departmental alliance and call them a team.  Successful teams however understand their role in the business, what they need to be successful and how they are doing.  We can provide fun and educational activity based learning opportunities to enhance this understanding.

Productivity and Waste  Improvements
We bring manufacturing and engineering solutions to the most difficult manufacturing problems.  Many waste problems are incorrectly identified or documented.  Some are hidden or unknown, but all are costly.  Productivity can be negatively effected by equipment, procedures and people.   We analyze the manufacturing process for understanding and capability, then find the right improvement solution.

Complex Project Management
Most project management systems manage cost, schedule and performance, which are all typically on the “technical” side of the balance.  The Project Management process of Risk Management Systems LLC considers both the Technical and the Social side of this important balance.  Rob Sheader has been involved in the building of two new greenfield site projects, the transfer of business between plants in Germany and the UK.Multiple new production lines and individual pieces of equipment.

Managing System Design

We have a 10 step process that leads the user through the design of a risk managing system.  It can be used as a stand alone administrative design process or when used with the tools of Improvement Through Spirit©, it becomes an organizational alignment process, and a Re-Branding process too.  Using the tools of Improvement Through Spirit©, Rob Sheader has facilitated 30 transformational changes in 5 countries on 3 continents.  Although the focus was improvement in Safety, Quality, or Production processes, there is another very valuable deliverable.  That “hidden Treasure” is Employee Enrichment.
